CENIT@EA seeks a balanced distribution of scholarship activities. The Project Coordinator together with the Admissions Committee is responsible for guaranteeing a balanced distribution of candidates among the Department of Computing Sciences at the NM-AIST. Through a selection process, all partners together must ensure capacity building and institutional development.
In this sense, NM-AIST has to assess the relevance of each scholarship. In addition to the work of the Selection Committee, each academic partner will have an important role in the selection procedure. Each institution must evaluate the potential candidates supported by the Admissions Committee.
During the project’s runtime, at least 70 students will study the proposed Master program “Embedded and Mobile Systems” (EMoS). The project will cover 70 scholarships. In total, two cohorts will be considered and each of the two cohorts will cover 35 scholarships. For a transparent, fair and equal evaluation of the scholarship applications, it is necessary to have clear rules for the admission and selection process. CENIT@EA is responsible for guaranteeing a balanced distribution of scholarships among the students applying to the Master program “Embedded and Mobile Systems” (EMoS) at NM-AIST.
The scholarships awarded by the project will not only cover the monthly allowance, rent assistance, financial assistance for studies and research, and writing and printing costs, but also the tuition fees applied at NM-AIST. In case additional funding can be obtained by the project, the top 5 students of each cohort will engage in a short term exchange (four weeks, internship at a partner institution) to Germany.
